Fall 2026 Adult Programming
ARC is excited to open registration for programming in our upcoming fall session for adult members that have gone through our formal intake process. If you are interested in any of the programs, workshops or information sessions, please complete the registration form on or before August 23rd, 2026. Spots in the program will be determined by a randomized queue, with participants new to a program being given priority over returning participants. Payments will not be taken until your registration is confirmed. Please note that you must have a valid membership to the Autism Resource Centre to enroll in our programs.

Monthly Meet-Up
Each month, a different event will be offered that allows members an opportunity to engage in fun activities within our community or at our office. Spots will be limited for each event, but we will do our best to ensure as many members as possible can participate during the time the program will be offered.
SUPPORTED WORK PERIOD
Supported Work Period
Need dedicated time to focus on school, work, or a personal project? Supported Work Time offers a quiet, low-distraction environment where members can work independently while enjoying the accountability and encouragement of a supportive group setting.
Bring your homework, paperwork, creative project, or other independent work and use this scheduled time to make progress in a welcoming space. An ARC staff member will be available throughout the session to answer brief questions, provide guidance, help problem-solve, or offer encouragement as needed. While staff are available to support participants, this is not an individual or one-on-one session.

1:2 - Monday Night Cooking Program
1:2 COOKING PROGRAM
Each week cooks build on their skills by meal planning, preparing a meal, and eating together as a group. Cooks choose their own recipes after being given main ingredients and a small budget. We have one staff for every two cooks to support them throughout the program. To participate, cooks should have basic cutting skills and experience following a recipe

1:1 - Tuesday Night Cooking Program
1:1 COOKING PROGRAM
Members in our Cooking Program build on their cooking skills by preparing a meal each week and eating together as a group. Each cook will be paired 1:1 with a staff to support them to choose and cook their own recipes after being given main ingredients and a small budget.

ADULT IMPROV
Offered in partnership with the Globe Theatre and funded by the City of Regina, Improv offers a fun and supportive environment with great instructors to foster spontaneity and a safe place to try out acting and improvisation activities.

Group Learning Series - Autism 101
GROUP LEARNING SERIES
This interactive learning series is designed for Autistic individuals who want to better understand themselves through a neurodiversity-affirming lens. Rather than focusing on deficits, this series explores how Autistic minds work, why common experiences occur, and practical strategies for building a life that supports your unique strengths and needs.
Together, we will explore topics such as monotropism, communication differences between Autistic and allistic people, interoception, alexithymia, masking and unmasking, sensory needs, Autistic burnout, co-occurring conditions, and the evolving understanding of autism.

ILP Workshop - Everyday Car Care
ILP WORKSHOP
Members will learn how to perform simple maintenance tasks, including checking and topping up engine oil, checking tire pressure and adding air, refilling windshield washer fluid, replacing wiper blades, and safely boosting a dead battery. We'll also discuss the importance of regular vehicle maintenance and when it's time to seek professional assistance. Whether you're a new driver or simply looking to become more independent with vehicle care, this workshop provides practical knowledge, hands-on learning, and the confidence to handle common car maintenance tasks with ease.

Common Connections - Silent Book Club
COMMON CONNECTIONS
Join this relaxed, low-demand gathering where Autistic adults can spend time reading alongside peers in a sensory-friendly environment.
Bring your favorite book, audiobook, e-reader, magazine, graphic novel, or other reading material and settle in for a quiet reading session at your own pace. There are no assigned readings, discussion requirements, or expectations to interact. Participants are welcome to read silently, use headphones for audiobooks, take movement or sensory breaks, and engage in whatever way feels most comfortable.
For those who would like to connect, there will be optional time after the reading session to chat about books, share recommendations, or simply enjoy the company of others.

Group Learning Series - Youth Care Basics
GROUP LEARNING SERIES
Whether you are helping care for younger siblings, family members, or supporting children in your community, this workshop provides practical tips and strategies to help you feel more confident in a caregiving role. Participants will learn ways to engage and interact with youth, including ideas for age-appropriate activities, building positive connections, keeping children entertained, and creating safe and supportive environments.
This workshop is designed for those who want to build their confidence and skills when spending time with youth. It is not a full babysitting certification or parenting course, but rather an opportunity to learn everyday strategies that can help you feel more prepared, comfortable, and successful in a caregiving role.

ILP Workshop - Cooking Holiday Meals
ILP WORKSHOP
Together, we will explore the steps involved in creating a holiday feast, including how to prepare poultry, along with popular side dishes and meal accompaniments. Participants will learn helpful tips for timing multiple dishes, food safety, and techniques to make holiday cooking feel more manageable.
The workshop will focus on building confidence in the kitchen while creating a welcoming and supportive environment. At the end of the session, participants will have the opportunity to sit down together and enjoy the meal they helped prepare. Whether you are new to cooking, looking to expand your kitchen skills, or wanting to learn how to prepare a meal for family and friends, this workshop offers a fun opportunity to learn, connect, and celebrate together.

University of Regina Career Fair
CAREER FAIR
Attending a career fair can be an exciting opportunity to explore employment options and connect with potential employers. Join ARC staff and fellow members for support as you navigate the event with confidence.
In the first 30 minutes we will meet to review helpful strategies, discuss what to expect, and share practical tips for introducing yourself, asking questions, and making a positive impression. Staff will then accompany members throughout the career fair, providing encouragement and support as you interact with employers, gather information, and explore career opportunities.

Employment Workshop -An Introduction to Careers Café: A VR Experience
Curious about what it's like to work in a customer service role? Join us for an introduction to Careers Café and explore immersive virtual reality technology that lets you experience real workplace tasks in a safe, supportive environment. During this session, you'll learn how the VR program works and get a preview of the order-at-the-counter simulation, helping you build confidence while exploring potential career interests. Following the introductory workshop, participants will have the opportunity to sign up for a time to come back and try out the simulation for themselves!

REAL District Mini Interviews
MINI INTERVIEWS
Take the next step toward employment with REAL District! Following the information session, participants will be assigned a 10–15 minute time slot to meet with a REAL District hiring manager for a brief conversation or mini interview. This is your opportunity to introduce yourself, practice your interview skills, and make a positive first impression while learning more about current employment opportunities.
Please note: Attendance at the REAL District Information Session is mandatory to be eligible for a mini-interview. Participants must register for and attend the information session in order to be assigned and maintain their mini-interview time slot. Those who do not attend the information session may forfeit their interview opportunity.
