Cooking Workshop

A Taste of Nigeria

Time & Location

Apr 22, 2025, 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.

Autism Resource Centre, 199 Leonard St, Regina, SK S4N 5X5, Canada

What to Expect

Join us for a cultural and cooking workshop where we will learn how to make Nigerian jollof rice. It is a step-by-step session where you will see, smell, and taste the ingredients as we cook. Jollof rice is a popular West African dish made with rice, tomatoes and spices. The workshop will be a calm and supportive space where you can follow along at your own pace. While our dish is cooking, members will have the opportunity to learn discussing Nigerian culture and traditions and share about their own.
