The Therapeutic Intervention Program (TIP) is a program for adults with ASD where clients are paired with a worker who is trained by the ARC Developmental Consultant. The program takes place in the either the worker or the client’s home and in the community, and occurs once/week for a maximum of three hours. The Therapeutic Interventionst implements their assigned client’s Individual Planned Program (IPP) throughout each outing. Areas that are focused on during the TI program are such things as vocational skills, academics, communication, meal-making abilities, and increasing overall independence. The cost of the TI program is $5.00/month from Sept to April of each year. There are a limited number of spaces in this program and must be appropriate for the individual with ASD.
